Toko-San lives in Japan, and he has a love for all quadrupedal* animals – especially cute ones.
***A quadrupedal animal is an animal that uses all four legs to walk. Yes, I kind of knew what it meant. π
Toko dropped serious cash so he can look like a real actual dog…which was a lifelong dream.
Once the costume was finished, Toko uploaded a video of himself in the costume, and he’s been launched into the viral world of the internet.
Why a collie? Toko said, “I made it a collie because it looks real when I put it on.”
Did he not try other breeds? Cuz the company pretty much NAILED this one. I mean, collie’s are cute, but what about pugs or a golden? Imagine a man-sized pug running at you when you come home from work! lol
The costume came from Zeppet, a company that makes costumes for TV commercials and films. Considering they’re a professional costume designer, they took the challenge seriously and spent 40 days and multiple revisions to finish.
When all was said and done, Toko paid $15,709 to look like a collie.
Read that sentence back again. FIFTEEN GRAND is gone…for a lifelike dog costume.
