Yesterday on Texas Independence Day Gov Abbott made a statewide announcement ending all guidelines and the statewide mask mandate.
Now the decisions fall into the hands of business owners. Restaurants can make the call themselves if the mandate masks and what type of guidelines they will have.
Larger venues like the AAC can allow technically allow full capacity but Mavs and Stars announced they will stick with their limited capacity and mask mandate.
Texas Education Agency said they will meet next week and release new guidelines and many distracts are waiting for that, however, Dallas ISD and Forth Worth announced they will continue the current guidelines and follow the CDC recommendations and don’t anticipate any changes for the remainder of the school year.
President Biden did say he expected enough vaccines for every adult by the end of May.
