Top Movies to See in November

Production companies are gearing up for the award season so November is looking pretty heavy in movie releases. There are so many good movies in all genres this month so you won’t have a hard time finding something to watch this month. Here are five movies you should look out for:

  1. Terminator: Dark Fate– 1st

James Cameron was able to get the original cast back together for this one along with a few new characters. This Terminator is set to be the true third installment to the franchise. With the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, you can expect the same a** kicking and killing robots you love so much from the previous films.

2. Doctor Sleep– 8th

Danny Torrance (Ewan McGregor) is still haunted from the events that took place nearly forty years ago in the Overlook Hotel (The Shining). He teams up with a teenage girl named Abra who presents the same gifts as Danny to take on an evil cult who seeks immortality. Doctor Sleep is one of Stephen King’s horror stories so I’m sure you’ll have a hard time sleeping after watching!

3. Last Christmas– 8th

Who doesn’t love a good Christmas movie with a cute love story?! Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) plays Kate, a joyless woman who meets Tom played by Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) who turns her life and attitude around.

4. Charlie’s Angels– 15th

When I heard about this remake I questioned it a bit but seeing the trailer and understanding this generation, I’m all for it! It’s the same story you know about the Charlie’s Angels franchise with a little twist, including a female Bosley played by the writer, producer, and director of the film Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games and Pitch Perfect). The movie also stars Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska, and Naomi Scott.

5. A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood- 22nd

This movie is going to be an emotional one. It’s the story of a journalist doing a story on Fred Rogers from the beloved television show Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. Played by Tom Hanks, this movie will teach us about love, friendship, kindness, and make us remember why we loved Mister Rogers so much!

6. Frozen 2– 22nd

Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the gang go on a quest to protect Arendelle with whats to come. Not much has been said about the film but expect fun, new, and exciting songs.

7. Knives Out– 27th (Wednesday)

We’ve got ourselves a good ole fashion murder mystery with an all star cast that includes Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, and more. Knives Out have critics loving the murder mystery moving stating “A fun thrill ride from beginning to end!”

Other movies to look for in theaters: Harriet (1st), Midway (8th), Ford v Ferrari (15th) 21 Bridges (22nd), Queen & Slim (27th), and The Irishman (27th on Netflix)
