Top Movies To See In Theaters For September

Here’s five movies to catch in theaters this month.

  1. It Chapter Two– 6th

So much hype and anticipation behind this one! One of Stephen King’s horrifying stories, It 2 returns 27 years after the terrible events that took place in the small town Derry. The Losers club return to defeat the clown once and for all. Starring Jessica Chastain (Dark Phoenix) and James McAvoy (Glass), we’re promised more bloody and scary moments than part one.


2. Hustlers– 13th

Here’s a story you don’t hear everyday. A group of strippers band together to take down some of Wall Street top dogs. Crazy right?! What’s even crazier is that the movie is based on actual events that took place in 2007. This female led film stars all of your faves like Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), KeKe Palmer, Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), Cardi B, and Lizzo. Grab your girls and head to the theaters on the 13th. It’s gonna be a good one!


3. Downton Abbey– 20th

Once a beloved award winning show on PBS now turned into a movie. If you followed the show or you love historical dramas, this movie is perfect for you.


4. Rambo: Last Blood– 20th

This one is kind of going under the radar with the release of It 2 and Hustlers but the production companies are expecting a big opening weekend from this one. Sylvester Stallone is one of the most loved action stars in the business. You can always expect kick ass fight scenes and ruthless terror that comes with Stallone films.


5. Ad Astra– 20th

Brad Pitt is having a great year! He knocked it out of the park in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and now critics are loving his performance in Ad Astra saying his performance is “moving” with “eloquent visuals”. The movie follows Roy McBride (Pitt), an astronaut that goes on a mission to space to find his missing father, played by Tommy Lee JonesThe film also stars Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games franchise).
