YouTube Star Lilly Singh Becomes First Woman Of Color To Get Her Own Late Night Talk Show

Since 2010 Lilly Singh has made a name for herself doing variety of comedy skits for her YouTube channel, some of which  include big stars like Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith, Nick Jonas, and more. Now she’s getting her own talk show on NBC.

“Ms. Singh, 30, will host a half-hour show in the 1:35 a.m. slot on NBC beginning in September, according to a statement from NBC on Thursday. She will be an executive producer on the show and will be the only woman with a late-night show on one of the so-called Big Four broadcast networks, the statement said.” – The New York Times
