Here are the top movies to see in theaters this month.
- Cold Pursuit– Feb. 8th
We know and love him from the Taken franchise. Out to get revenge for his son’s death, Liam Neeson is back kicking a** in this chilling thriller. You can expect the usual from him and so much more.
2. The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part– Feb. 8th
The Lego Movie franchise has made some of the best animated movies of the decade. The entertaining comedic lines are spot on in these hilarious adolescent films. The film stars Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett as Batman. You can expect the same humor and entertaining moments in this sequel. Parents, I don’t blame you for wanting to see this movie by yourself for a second time!
3. What Men Want– Feb. 8th
We all remember Mel Gibson’s What Women Want movie back in 2000. Lets flip the script some! Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures) star in this hilarious remake about a sports agent who was passed up for a promotion and turns the tables on her colleagues when she’s able to hear their thoughts. The cast also includes comedian Tracy Morgan, Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton), and Dallas native Erykah Badu.
4. Isn’t It Romantic– Feb. 13th
Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) is stuck in a romantic comedy, LITERALLY!
5. Happy Death Day 2U– Feb. 13th
I was surprised to hear about a sequel to Happy Death Day. You can pretty much expect the same thing from the first film, maybe a deeper plot twist than before.
Other movies released this month: Miss Bala (1st), Alita: Battle Angel (14th), Fighting With My Family (14th), How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (22nd)
